Powerline have completed another successful installation for Westonbirt Arboretum’s “Illuminated Trail”: a spectacular mile-long display through the heart of the tree collection, as part of the Arboretum’s “Enchanted Christmas”. This pioneering event is now a regular feature for many families in the run up to the festive season.
Tour de France – UK Stages
The Tour de France was the fourth race to hold stages in the UK, and so far, the only edition to contain more than two stages here. Powerline were delighted to work with a number of different clients, and to supply to many major aspects of this world-renowned event.
Bristol Harbour Festival
Since the high octane days of power boat racing in Bristol docks, the annual festival has relaxed in pace and become less of a Health and Safety officers nightmare. The job however is not without its challenges.
Powerline undertook this event when it moved to its current home at Charlton Park in Malmesbury, the new site gave the new supplier a blank canvas to devise a package that would power this famous festival. We invested heavily to ensure that the event was a success in terms of power. Despite some hideous weather conditions in the first few years the event has become a firm favorite amongst the crew that work on it each year.
